DAKO-CZ helps to significantly improve safety on the railway by developing and producing braking systems for the majority of railway application. Our ambitious goals have to match all actual market trends and even try to predict them. That is why we are proud to be new member of UNIFE.

The High Tatras have seen new trains on the popular rack railway, the track connecting Tatranská Štrba and Štrbské pleso. Five three-car rack and pinion sets from Stadler Rail are fitted with brake components from DAKO-CZ. As part of the project, the company from Třemošnice, East Bohemia, also supplied brake components for a multifunctional locomotive, which can also serve as a snow plough during winter. The new trains replaced trains that had been in operation on the Tatra rack railway for over 50 years.

Our company will supply brake components for twenty-9 parts of non-traction vehicle units in the years 2022 to 2025. The new Viaggio Comfort sets operated by ČD will reach speeds of up to 230 km/h.

Order of the ETCS safety system for motor wagons of the Správa železnic. These are track machines that are operated in the Czech Republic and, on request, in the Slovak Republic.

Our company will start supplying brake systems for another 120 sets of 3-chassis container wagons from August 2022. The newly acquired contract is an option for the currently implemented project from November 2021.

DAKO-CZ was awarded by the Siemens Brakes department of Siemens Mobility to supply brake components for the new 94 9-car trains for the Piccadilly Line of the London Underground. For DAKO-CZ, the manufacturer of brake components for rail vehicles from Třemošnice, this is the largest order from Siemens Mobility to date.

This year, the company seated in Tremosnice will start to deliver pneumatic modules for Oslo metro cars. The newly acquired contract follows the 2004 project, when the Oslo metro project became the first ever contract, thanks to which DAKO-CZ started cooperation with Siemens.

DAKO-CZ has won another important project in India which is a contract for the supply of brake equipment for a total amount of 760 LHB vehicles.

DAKO-CZ will start supplying brake components for another 22 six-vehicle subway trains this year. The newly acquired contract is the second option for the previously performed contracts from 2013- 2015 and 2018-2021. The brake components will be fitted with Inspiro platform sets designated as C2 from Siemens.

CEMS - a project on which we collaborated with students of the University of Economics, Prague. The students prepared a market research for us based on the assignment of our company. We were interested in the territory of India - a possible entry of a European company into the market in the field of supply of brake systems and components for rail vehicles with a focus on electronics.
